- +----------> How to use the "CHESS-REPLAY" program 'CHESSRP3' <--------------+
- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
- | |
- | This program requires an input file containing 'CHESS MOVES' statements. |
- | |
- | When invoking CHESSRP3 without giving the name of a 'CHESS MOVES' file on |
- | the command line, the program MENU is displayed. |
- | |
- | Use a single character to select various options as explained on MENU. |
- | |
- | Chess Moves files are assumed to be suffixed with the characters '.CHX'. |
- | When TRUE, file names may be entered without this suffix. |
- | |
- | Use the 'UP ARROW' and the 'DOWN ARROW' keys to move CHESS PIECES on board.|
- | Alternately, keys 'd' (for down) and 'u' (for up) will do the same thing. |
- | |
- | Terminate a GAME prematurely by pressing 'Esc' key. |
- | |
- | Program checks the validity of CHESS MOVES only if necessary to determine |
- | which CHESS PIECE to move. ---- |
- | If such a determination cannot be made, program will end with an ERROR |
- | condition. |
